Tutorial Tuesday » Valentine's Day Gift

February 21, 2012

So, I've realized that this is way over due, but I've just been busy with other things.

This was Joshua's Valentine's Day gift. A lot of MilSO's have been doing this lately for their loved ones, so I figured I'd give it a try. I was strolling through tumblr one day and came across a post that involved a deck of cards and "52 Reasons Why I Love...". Thought this was a fantastic, simple, yet fun, way to tell someone how much you mean to them. Figured this would be an affordable and thoughtful gift for Valentine's Day. This was our second Vday away from each other, so, I figured this would be something he'd love and appreciate. A few days later, I began to search all over the web for ideas, templates, reasons, etc. I came across this blog and it all came together. I thought her templates and ideas were perfect! I didn't want to make mine too fancy, so, I modeled my templates off of hers.

There are indeed other crazy, weird, creative ways to show how much you love them, but this is one of the easiest if your significant other is miles away.

What you'll need:
-One deck of any kind of playing cards
- 52 reasons, of course
-52 Reasons printed out using your own design, or you can find some on here
-A pair of scissors
-A hole puncher
-Two binder rings
-Glue or double stick tape
